True North Hardwood Plywood Mill Information

Situated on the 49th parallel in Northern Ontario, Canada, True North Hardwood Plywood’s manufacturing facility is located in the town of Cochrane in the heart of the Boreal Forest.

Trembling Aspen is the most prolific hardwood species in this forest region and its high moisture, low density characteristics make it ideal for a smooth peeling inter-core in the production of hardwood plywood.

True North sources the hardwood faces for our product from various rotary and sliced veneer manufacturers in Canada and the U.S. Meticulous attention and care is taken throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that the aesthetic characteristics of each species are preserved in the final product.

Each mill employee understands the high end use application for our panels and takes special pride in producing high quality hardwood plywood.
